The E-Window operates in two distinct visual layers that can be used independently or together:

• Sky light only: The panel displays moving clouds across a soft blue sky. This provides ambient, evenly diffused illumination similar to overcast natural daylight. It is the quieter, more subdued mode suited to reception areas, lounges, and residential spaces.
• Sky light and sun light together: A second, high-brightness vertical beam simulates direct sunlight, casting defined shadows as it would through a real skylight. This mode increases the perceived depth of the effect and is well suited to retail, hospitality lobbies, and architectural feature installations.

In automatic mode, the panel progresses through the full day from sunrise warmth through noon brightness, into dusk amber tones, and finally a starry night sky, all without any manual input. The CCT shifts automatically from warm (2500K sunrise) through cool (10,000K midday) and back, mirroring the natural arc of outdoor daylight.

The E-Window Skylight recesses into a suspended or structural ceiling. Key measurements to confirm before ordering:

The external 48V HLG power supply mounts above the ceiling, separate from the panel body. An aviation connector links the driver to the panel for a clean, serviceable connection. High-quality mounting accessories are included.

At 40 kg, the panel requires a ceiling structure capable of supporting the load. Confirm structural adequacy with your contractor before cutting the opening.

Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician or contractor in accordance with local building and electrical codes.

The E-Window supports both automatic and manual operation, and is compatible with multiple control protocols for integration into building automation or AV systems:

• Automatic mode: The panel runs its full 24-hour sky and sunlight cycle without any external input. Brightness and CCT shift continuously throughout the day.
• Manual mode: Set a fixed brightness level and color temperature to suit the space or time of day. Useful when the panel is used as a static light source rather than a dynamic skylight.

Supported control protocols: PWMI, DALI, RS-485, APP (mobile), DMX512, and 0-10V analog dimming. Confirm your required protocol at time of order.

Multiple E-Window panels can be connected so their sky animations play in sync across a larger ceiling. When linked, clouds move continuously from one panel to the next rather than each panel running its own independent loop, creating the impression of a single large skylight.

Does the sky animation loop, or does it change continuously?
The sky effect is dynamic and changes continuously rather than looping a short clip. Clouds move and shift in real time across the panel surface.

Can the starry night mode be set to stay on indefinitely?
In manual mode you can hold any state, including a night sky scene. In automatic mode the panel follows the full 24-hour cycle and will transition out of night mode as the simulated morning begins.

How much structural support does the ceiling need?
The panel weighs 40 kg. Your ceiling structure must be rated to support this load. A structural engineer or qualified contractor should confirm this before any opening is cut.

What ceiling cavity depth is needed?
A minimum of 200 mm of clear space above the ceiling surface is required to accommodate the panel body (121 mm deep), the holding frame, and the external power supply.

Can multiple panels run different sky scenes at the same time?
Yes. Without linking, each panel runs independently. With sky linkage enabled, panels synchronize to a single continuous sky scene.
