Ansel Picture Light

The C&C Ansel Picture Light is a slim, frosted LED bar in a black housing, carried on a short arm from a compact wall box. A hinge at the top of the bar lets it articulate up and down, so you can aim the light where you want it. Use it above artwork, mirrors, headboards or shelving for a soft, even wash of light.

Design and Finish

The name Ansel nods to the photographer known for his mastery of light. A slim black bar with small end caps and a frosted diffuser sits on a short arm from a compact black wall box. A small hinge at the top of the bar joins the two, so the bar can articulate up and down.

The matte black finish stays quiet against plaster, paint, timber and stone, so the light and the artwork take the focus.

Driver, Dimming and Color Temperature

Ansel uses a constant current, Class 2 LED driver with a 500mA, 18-40VDC output and a power factor above 0.90 at 120V. It is rated for 110-120V at 50/60Hz, and the integrated LED is 20W.

Color temperature is selectable at 3000K, 4000K or 5000K, so one fixture can be tuned to each room. The driver is dimmable at 120V on a compatible triac (forward-phase) dimmer. Dimming performance depends on the dimmer, so please confirm compatibility before ordering. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.
