• 6500K: Daylight, very bright and energizing, used in task-intensive commercial settings, inspection areas, and spaces needing high-lumen output.

The onboard 5CCT switch lets you select the color temperature at installation without ordering a different SKU for each zone.

The Span panel ships with a surface-mount frame and all required hardware for direct ceiling installation.

• Surface mount: The included mounting bracket attaches directly to a ceiling junction box (compatible with 2.1-inch, 2.75-inch, and 3.5-inch boxes) or to the ceiling surface using the included plastic anchors and screws. The panel locks into the bracket with a slide-and-lock motion.
• Wire suspension: An optional wire suspension kit is available as an accessory for pendant-style installations, allowing the panel to hang below the ceiling. Contact us to add this to your order.

Included hardware: 1 mounting bracket, 4 screws, 4 plastic anchors, 3 wire nuts, 2 safety cables.

The Span panel uses Triac dimming. The following dimmers have been tested and confirmed compatible:

Always verify dimmer compatibility with a qualified electrician before installation. Using an incompatible dimmer may cause flickering, buzzing, or reduced dimming range.

• Offices: 4000K to 5000K for alert, productive work environments. The wide 114° beam spreads evenly, reducing the number of fixtures needed per square foot.
• Classrooms and schools: 4000K with dimming for flexible lighting levels. Flicker-free operation is especially important for students who are sensitive to flicker.
• Retail: 3500K to 4000K with CRI 90 for accurate color rendering of merchandise. Surface mounting is fast to install and easy to maintain.
• Workshops and garages: 5000K or 6500K for maximum brightness and visual clarity over work surfaces.
• Corridors and common areas: 3000K to 3500K for a welcoming feel with lower energy use.

For standard 9-foot ceilings, 1×4 ft panels spaced roughly 6 to 8 feet apart provide even ambient coverage. For higher ceilings or task-intensive areas, space panels closer together or increase wattage.

• Turn off power at the fuse or circuit breaker before beginning installation.
• If a junction box is present, attach the mounting bracket to the box using the included screws. Compatible with 2.1-inch, 2.75-inch, and 3.5-inch junction boxes.
• If no junction box is present, attach the bracket directly to the ceiling using the 4 included plastic anchors and screws.
• Set the CCT switch to your desired color temperature (3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K, or 6500K) before sealing the fixture.
• Connect wires: Black to Black (Live), White to White (Neutral), Green to Green (Ground).
• Clip the safety cable from the fixture to the mounting bracket for added security.
• Hold the panel flush against the ceiling, then slide and lock into place.
• Restore power and test the fixture.
• Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.

Can I change the color temperature after installation?
Yes, as long as you can access the onboard CCT switch inside the fixture. The switch is set before the panel locks into place. If you need to change it later, the panel slides back out of the bracket for access.

Is wire suspension included?
No. The surface-mount bracket and hardware are included. Wire suspension is available separately as an accessory. Contact us to add it to your order.

What junction box sizes does it support?
The mounting bracket is compatible with 2.1-inch, 2.75-inch, and 3.5-inch junction boxes. If no junction box is present, the bracket attaches directly to the ceiling with plastic anchors.

What is the warranty?
Five years standard warranty from the date of purchase.

Is this panel suitable for damp locations?
The spec sheet does not list a damp or wet location rating. For moisture-prone environments, confirm suitability with your electrician before installation.

What is the difference between CRI 90 and a standard CRI 80 panel?
CRI 90 renders colors more accurately, meaning paints, fabrics, skin tones, and merchandise look closer to how they appear in natural daylight. CRI 80 is adequate for utility lighting. CRI 90 is recommended for offices, retail, and any space where color quality matters.
