Reed Wall Sconce

The C&C Reed Wall Sconce is a slim black LED rod on a small round backplate. A soft warm glow washes the wall along both sides of the rod, so the fixture reads as a fine line of light. Use it as a pair flanking a mirror or doorway, or repeat it along a hallway for a clean, rhythmic accent.

Design and Finish

The name Reed comes from the slender, upright stalk the fixture resembles. A single thin black rod with small end caps stands centered on a low, round black backplate, reaching equally above and below it. The result is a graphic vertical line with very little visual weight.

A soft warm glow along both sides of the rod lights the wall behind it, so the fixture works as both a decorative mark and a gentle source of light. The black finish contrasts cleanly with plaster, paint, timber and stone.

Driver and Dimming

Reed uses a constant current, Class 2 LED driver with a 24V DC, 500mA output and a power factor above 0.9. It accepts 120-277V at 50/60Hz, and the fixture draws a maximum of 8W.

The driver is dimmable at 120V on a compatible triac (forward-phase) dimmer. Dimming performance depends on the dimmer, so please confirm compatibility before ordering. Installation should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes.

Where to Use It
  • Hallways and entryways: flank a mirror or doorway with a pair, or repeat the sconce along a wall.
  • Bedrooms: mount a matching pair on either side of the bed or headboard wall.
  • Living and dining rooms: frame artwork, a console or a fireplace with a slim vertical line of light.
  • Hotel corridors and boutique hospitality: a refined, consistent wall light for guest rooms and shared spaces.

Reed is rated for dry locations only and is intended for indoor use.
