Highlighted Features

Open Plenum Design
The linear baffle layout leaves the ceiling plenum accessible, allowing airflow and integration with lighting fixtures, HVAC ducts, and sprinkler systems without additional soffits or bulkheads.
Three Size Categories
Small (20–55 mm height), Medium (30–80 mm height), and Large (40–105 mm height) baffles, each available in multiple H×W profiles to dial in the right visual scale for any ceiling height and space.
Wood Grain Finishes
Sixteen wood grain options including Deep Teak, Walnut Wood, Dark Oak, Cherry Wood, and Maple Wood. Aluminum construction delivers the warmth of natural materials with resistance to moisture and deformation.
Solid Color Finishes
Nineteen solid powder-coat options from Pure Black and Pure White through Dark Gray, Champagne Gold, Brushed Bronze Gold, Sky Blue, and more. Custom color matching available for large orders (YH036).
Custom Length
Each baffle is ordered with a custom length in mm to suit the exact run of the ceiling, minimizing cuts on site and waste during installation.
Raw Finish Option
Baffles are available in a raw (unfinished) aluminum finish for projects that require site-applied paint, specialty coatings, or an industrial aesthetic.
Durable Aluminum Construction
0.4 to 1.0 mm aluminum thickness provides structural rigidity while keeping the system lightweight. Resistant to moisture, corrosion, and deformation for long-term performance in high-traffic environments.
Ready to Install
Complete specifications, supplied ready to install. Mounting hardware and rail system included to get the ceiling up without additional procurement.

Finish Options — Wood Grain

Wood grain finishes are applied to the aluminum surface to replicate the appearance of natural timber. Because the substrate is aluminum, the baffles resist moisture and warping that solid wood would be subject to in humid commercial environments.

Choosing the Right Profile Size

The profile is specified as H×W where H is the visible depth of the baffle hanging down from the ceiling, and W is the face width of the baffle blade. Both values are in mm.

  • Small profiles (S): Suited to lower ceiling heights (2.7 to 3.5 m) where a delicate baffle scale keeps the ceiling from feeling heavy. The 45×40 and 40×50 profiles are the most commonly selected for residential and boutique retail.
  • Medium profiles (M): A versatile range for standard commercial ceiling heights (3.0 to 4.5 m). The 70×40 and 65×50 profiles are the most commonly selected across offices and hospitality.
  • Large profiles (L): For high-ceiling commercial and institutional spaces (4.5 m and above) where a bold, dramatic baffle scale is appropriate. The 100×30, 95×40, and 90×50 profiles are the most commonly selected.

As a general rule, taller baffles (larger H) create a more dramatic shadow line and stronger linear rhythm on the ceiling. Wider baffles (larger W) cover more ceiling surface and reduce the amount of visible plenum between blades.

Where to Use It
  • Offices and co-working spaces: Linear baffles define zones and absorb sound above workstations, while leaving the plenum open for recessed and suspended lighting integration.
  • Retail stores and showrooms: Wood grain finishes add warmth to commercial interiors. The open system lets track lighting and spotlights pass through or mount directly to the baffles.
  • Hotel lobbies and restaurants: Large profiles at height create a dramatic architectural statement. Custom lengths mean the system can run continuously across large spans without visible joints.
  • Public areas and corridors: Aluminum's durability and resistance to moisture and deformation make the system well suited to high-traffic, humidity-prone areas like transit hubs, healthcare corridors, and food service areas.
  • Residential feature ceilings: Small and medium profiles in wood grain finishes integrate with residential lighting systems in living rooms, kitchens, and entryways.
Installation Notes
  • Baffles are supplied ready to install with the rail system and mounting hardware included.
  • The rail mounts to the structural ceiling above. Suspension rods lower the rail to the desired finished ceiling height, and baffles clip into the rail at the specified spacing.
  • Specify custom length in mm at time of order to match the ceiling run exactly and minimize on-site cutting.
  • For projects requiring integration with recessed lighting, track lighting, or HVAC diffusers, confirm clearances with your mechanical and lighting consultant before finalizing baffle height and spacing.
  • Raw finish baffles can be site-painted or powder-coated after installation. Consult the finish supplier for adhesion and curing requirements on aluminum substrate.
  • Installation should be carried out by a qualified ceiling contractor in accordance with local building codes.
Frequently Asked Questions

What does H×W mean in the profile dimensions?
H is the baffle height, meaning the depth the blade hangs down from the rail, in mm. W is the face width of the blade, meaning how wide each individual baffle is when viewed from below. A profile like 70×40 is 70 mm deep and 40 mm wide.

How is custom length specified?
You specify the finished length of each baffle in mm at time of order. Baffles are cut to that length at the factory, supplied ready to install, and minimize waste on site.

Can the finish be changed after installation?
The finish is applied at the factory before shipping. Raw finish baffles can be painted on site, but pre-finished baffles cannot be reliably repainted to match the original factory finish without specialist equipment. Select the finish before ordering.

Are lighting fixtures compatible with the baffle system?
The open plenum design allows recessed, suspended, and track lighting to be integrated into or above the baffle ceiling. Confirm specific fixture dimensions and mounting requirements with your lighting supplier and ceiling contractor before ordering.

Is custom color matching available?
Yes, for large orders. Use finish code YH036 and contact us with your RAL or Pantone color reference to discuss minimum quantities and lead times.

What thickness should I specify?
The standard 0.4 mm thickness is suitable for most commercial and residential installations. Heavier thicknesses (0.6, 0.8, or 1.0 mm) provide greater rigidity and are recommended for longer span lengths or high-traffic areas where the baffles may be subject to physical contact. Contact us to confirm the right thickness for your project.
